Harmonic Filter Resistors

Quality of power is becoming ever more important for both suppliers and users, as the number of devices that may feed harmonics in power systems is increased, resulting in higher line losses, interferences and resonances

Harmonic filter resistors that are also known as damping resistors, with capacitors and inductors make up harmonic filters.

While the LC filters let the fundamental frequency through, by clearing all the spurious frequencies, the harmonic currents into heat.
